We analysed and engaged the business press across Wales, reaching the marine and coastal sector from tourism to renewable energy. Producing creative stories surrounding SEACAMS research vessel and the adventures of the scientists on it, gained rapid initial coverage across Wales. We were careful to credit the ERDF, SEACAMS’ funding body throughout the campaign and on all collateral ensuring we met their branding and publicity guidelines. We designed banner stands together with brochures and leaflets to promote the programme and its outputs at business meetings. As projects emerged we researched, wrote and designed articles in a monthly newsletter ‘Sea Views’. Newsletters were posted online enhancing SEACAMS’ digital presence and printed for distribution at events. All communications were produced in Welsh and English.
